I'm thinking of getting a laptop soon...there's one for less than $200 at a local store's black Friday.
So, here's my question. Will Dragon Age 2 run on low graphics with these stats:
AMD Dual-Core C-50 processor
2 GB System Memory
250 GB Hard Drive
Thanks! Will Dragon Age 2 run on a laptop with these stats?
Make sure by looking at the system requirements on the game box. I just started playing DA2 %26amp; am very disappointed. So far it does not compare to DA Origins. Will Dragon Age 2 run on a laptop with these stats?
I do not know...Here's a checker.

NO IT HAS TO AT LEAST BE 4GB
Dragon Age 2 is demanding, though not as demanding as some other games. The processor seems to be relatively low-end, so while your RAM and HDD are sufficient, the processor might not be able to handle it. Additionally, even on the lowest graphics settings, an insufficient graphics card can cause both visual and hardware issues.
It's suggested that the minimum requirements are:
OS: Windows XP with SP3, Windows Vista with SP2, or Windows 7
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo (or equivalent) running at 1.8 GHz or greater
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 (or equivalent) running at 1.8 GHz or greater
RAM: 1 GB (1.5 GB Vista and Windows 7)
Video: ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro 256 MB
Video: NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GS 256 MB cards
Disc Drive: DVD ROM drive required
Hard Drive: 7 GB
Sound: Direct X 9.0c Compatible Sound Card Windows Experience Index: 4.5
But that's for bare minimum playability. For a decent experience:
CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad 2.4 GHz Processor or equivalent
CPU: AMD Phenom II X3 Triple core 2.8 GHz or equivalent
RAM: 2GB (4 GB Vista and Windows 7)
Video: ATI 3850 512 MB or greater
Video: NVIDIA 8800GTS 512 MB or greater
DirectX 11 Video: ATI 5850 or greater
DirectX 11 Video: NVIDIA 460 or greater
For the best performance, usually the trick is to double recommended requirements.
Laptops are alright for gaming as long as they're built to do just that. Unfortunately, good gaming laptops are pricey and hard to find at a bargain.
