I would play both if you have the time and money to do so. You can also look into renting from gamefly if you don't want to commit money to Origins. They are two totally different games and I don't believe Dragon Age 2 is a direct sequel to Origins so you won't be ruining the story if you played one without the other.Should i get dragon age origins or just wait for dragon age 2?

I say get both. Origins is amazing and it's pretty cheap anyway, about $20.
Well i think you sould wait because i'am shure dragon age 2 will be better but maybe there will be some bugs
