I'm looking for either one that does a large amount of damage or one that is like or is the one seen in the Dragon Age 2 trailer "Destiny"In Dragon Age 2: Where is the best staff for mages in the game? or Where can you find th sword-staff seen?
the staff in the trailer is the staff of the parthalan and was reserved for people who signed up for it months before the games release. I Believe the best staff is sold during the final battle at Sandal's store

and the other staff is found during Merrill's final companion quest off an incredibly spoiler filled battle, off a demon.

The staff in the video is the staff of Parthalon. It's downloadable content. It's very cool, but the damage done isn't very high. Your better off looking for another one
