Do i need a completed game save from dragon age 1 to dragon age 2?

No.

Like many BioWare games, if you didn't play the first installment, the second will make some default choices about the events that took place in the previous game.

For instance if you played the Dragon Age Awakenings add on, without importing an Origins character, the game assumed certain events took place, certain people were dead, and who became king of Ferelden.

I assume that these same assumptions are made if you start right in on DA2. They will also probably make some default choices about characters in Awakenings if you do not import a saved game from the add on, since at least one major DA2 character comes directly from Awakenings.Do i need a completed game save from dragon age 1 to dragon age 2?
No. Having a completed game save from the first Dragon Age game populates the sequel with references and comments on actions you did in the first game (and Dragon Age:Witch Hunt). There could be further implications in-game, but it isn't necessary at all to play.Do i need a completed game save from dragon age 1 to dragon age 2?
No, there will be three different styles of default saves you can pick from if you choose not to import your own.Do i need a completed game save from dragon age 1 to dragon age 2?
Don't know yet. I would expect it's best to beat the game. More important decisions in the end anyway.
I don't understand what you mean.
